Create a template
Create a template for one document type, such as a decision letter, confirmation, invoice, or permit.
Steps
- Open the tenant where the document belongs.
- Go to Templates.
- Create a new template with a clear name.
- Add the information the document needs, such as recipient, reference number, dates, decisions, or line items.
- Add at least one realistic example.
- Check the default variant and theme before opening the editor.
Good examples
Use examples that look like real cases. Add separate examples for optional paragraphs, long names, repeated lists, different languages, and brand variants. Good examples make preview and later quality checks much more useful.
When to create another template
Create a new template when the document has a different purpose or approval lifecycle. Use variants when the document is the same type but needs a different language, brand, or presentation.
